About me

I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at South Tees NHS Trust (James Cook University Hospital) since 2011.
I have a particular interest and expertise in diagnostic gastroenterology, including endoscopy and colonoscopy, and management of Inflammatory bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease), Capsule endoscopy and small bowel disease, Coeliac disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
I have a caring and friendly manner, I undertake all private diagnostic gastroscopy/ colonoscopy and colonoscopy myself.
I work closely with the multi-professional team in radiology, surgery and dietetics and I can ensure appropriate investigation and treatment of your symptoms.
