About me

Amir is a Chartered Health Psychologist working with both children and adults. He completed his education and training in Israel where he gained extensive experience working with people coping with different psychological symptoms and medical conditions.

Amir has worked with people with problems such as depression and anxiety (e.g. stress, OCD, specific phobias, health worries, sleep problems, skin picking and trichotillomania). He also has experience in working with children with ADHD and providing consultations to parents on different parenting issues (e.g. behavioural problems in school or at home). He has special interest and knowledge in applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and integrates Mindfulness-based CBT, Biofeedback training and Hypnosis into the therapeutic process.

Amir provides goal driven, brief and longer term therapies, on an individual, group, couple and family basis.

Amir is a Chartered Health Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
