Mr Saleh is a Consultant Plastic and Cosmetic surgeon at the UK leading Newcastle Hospitals NHS trust Plastic surgery department. He is on the GMC specialist register as a Plastic Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgeon. He is a multi-award/prize winning surgeon and has lectured nationally and internationally on facial and cosmetic breast surgery. He was one of only three nationally appointed Cosmetic interface fellows and also won national sponsorship to be one of the few worldwide Dutch facial plastic surgery scholars in 2016.
Mr Saleh has particular expertise in rejuvenating asymmetries or the effects of ageing in the head, neck and face both surgically and non-surgically. Mr Saleh also performs cosmetic breast and body surgery and teaches nationally and internationally on these subjects.
Mr Saleh offers significant experience treating skin lesions/cancer and his NHS specialty work is primarily focussed on cancer surgery of the head, neck and face and major reconstruction of the chest and trunk. In addition he has particular interests in complex nasal reconstruction following cancer removal and re-shaping (rhinoplasty). His current research includes work on minimally invasive, “minimal downtime’ facelifting.
Mr Saleh believes patient safety and education are the key for achieving exceptional results and has developed educational tools for patients to help aid the understanding of what cosmetic surgery truly involves.
