About me

I am a private practitioner with a busy and successful Counselling and Psychotherapy practice in Pinner, NW London. I am confident that you will find I offer a service that is both warm and welcoming as well as professional and confidential.

Professional Registrations.
I am a Registered and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a qualified, NHS trained, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). I am a Relate trained Couples and Relationship Therapist. In addition I am qualified Hypnotherapy Practitioner with membership of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR).

About me.
I am a mature counsellor and prior to my work as a private counselling practitioner I have previously held several managerial positions in private corporations. My experiences in the corporate environment has proved to be a valuable asset that compliments my work as a counsellor providing me with a unique insight into the challenges and demands that are frequently encountered by clients in the modern workplace. I find that my prior experience and therapy training enables me to empathise directly with the diverse experiences of clients who may often be striving to achieve a good work/life balance and manage healthy partner and family relationships.

Qualifications.
I hold an extensive range of counselling and psychotherapy qualifications including a Foundation Degree in Person-Centred Counselling, a Diploma in Trauma Therapy, a Diploma in Couples and Relationship Counselling (Relate) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).


My Experience.
In addition to my professional training I have held several counselling positions with organisations providing local community services and have worked as a Hospice Bereavement Counsellor, Couples and Relationship Counsellor for Relate and as a counsellor for an agency supporting local carers.
I believe that my experience and training enables me to offer a service to my clients that is warm, sincere and completely confidential. I take pride in working closely with clients to help you achieve the change you deserve. You would be very welcome to contact me to discuss how I might also help you.
