About me

I am a Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). I am based at St. George’s Hospital, which serves as the regional referral unit for South West London and Surrey, and I have one of the busiest clinical practices in the region.

I completed general cardiology training in some of the busiest hospitals in London and the South Coast before pursuing sub-specialist training in electrophysiology and pacing in Brighton and at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London. I was awarded a prestigious European fellowship to train in Belgium and this provided outstanding exposure to novel interventional techniques for managing both simple and complex heart rhythm disorders. I assess and treat patients with both general cardiology complaints and symptoms attributable to heart rhythm disturbances. I am fully trained in the medical and interventional treatment of arrhythmias and have a specific interest in complex ablation and pacemaker/defibrillator implantation and I am one of the few UK cardiologists who hold the European Heart Rhythm Association Certification in Electrophysiology.

I am committed to delivering the highest standard of care and aim to empower patients to make informed choices for their treatment. I place the patient at the forefront of my efforts and work with patients and general practitioners to achieve the best possible outcomes.
