About me

I started my physiotherapy career on a voluntary basis working for a local football team covering pitch side first aid as my dreams of a career in professional football became unlikely. I initially completed a basic sport injury management course that gave me a taste of the profession, progressing on to completing an HND in Sport and Leisure Studies, gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Rehabilitation and then straight into the long awaited BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. Since qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2011, I have worked full time for a well established premier league football team, worked in a private hospital within orthopaedics, worked for Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover and the NEC group in an occupational health setting. I have also worked in Rugby Union and currently I work for the F.A at St Georges Park, providing physiotherapy services for their UEFA Coaching Program. I also run my own clinic on a part time basis and cover national and international Ultimate Frisbee tournaments for Team GB that have taken me all over the world including Toronto Canada (2013) and Perth, Australia (2018).
