About me

I am a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist with skills in psychological assessment and intervention of adults experiencing difficulties such as depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress.

I have a special interest in working with individuals who have difficulties related to the effects of childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence and issues arising from this such as relationship difficulties and self-harm.

My clinical practice is influenced by modes of therapy such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and systemic therapy in order to best meet the needs of the client. To this end, I place the therapeutic alliance at the core of any psychological input.

I have completed accredited training in the use of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder, Schema-Focused Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma.
