Dr Adam Wheldon, MBBS, BSc (Hons), FRCP, qualified from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2002. He was appointed as a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician at Poole General Hospital in 2012. Dr Wheldon specialises in the management of older patients with multiple and complex medical problems.
Dr Wheldon sub specialises in providing comprehensive Pre and Postoperative medical care and rehabilitation to patients with Orthopaedic conditions, and works in one of the leading departments in the country for patients suffering from a fractured neck of femur.
Dr Wheldon leads the Falls Prevention Team at Poole Hospital and specialises in the investigation of Falls and their management. Dr Wheldon also has an interest in Osteoporosis and its treatment, to enable patients to maintain their independence and quality of life.
