Dr Arjun K Ghosh MBBS MRCP (UK) MRCP (Cardiology) MSc PhD FHEA
Dr Ghosh is a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew's Hospital and University College London Hospitals. He helped establish Cardio-Oncology services at Barts Heart Centre (Europe's largest Cardiology centre) and at University College London Hospital. These services provide specialised cardiac care for cancer patients.
Dr Ghosh is also specialised in advanced cardiac imaging and is accredited in cardiac MRI, echocardiography (transthoracic and transoesophageal - TOE) and cardiac CT.
Dr Ghosh is also fully trained in all aspects of general cardiology e.g. coronary heart disease, increased cholesterol/lipids, valvular heart disease, palpitations/heart rhythm problems, cardiac faints (syncope/presyncope), cardiomyopathy and heart failure.
Dr Ghosh has a keen interest in teaching medical students and junior doctors and completed an MSc in medical Education from UCL/Royal College of Physicians in 2010.
Dr Ghosh has published and lectured widely in the field of Cardio-Oncology and other aspects of Cardiology. He received a multiple-award winning PhD from Imperial College London in 2013.
