He is available to see and treat patients privately at both the Cheltenham Nuffield, Winfield and Tetbury Hospitals in Gloucestershire.
He completed his higher surgical training in the Southwest of England and has had specialist Upper Gastrointestinal Training at several highly regarded centres in both the UK and Melbourne, Australia.

Mr Hornby holds a Bachelors degree with a thesis on Perioperative Nutritional status measurement and a Doctorate of Medicine having completed research into biomarkers and Baysian risk modelling for the screening of oesophagogastric cancer.
He was an early collaborator in the UK Trainee led research movement as a cofounder of SPARCS (Severn and Peninsula Audit and Research Collaborative for Surgeons).
Mr Hornby was the UK top recruiter for the ROSSINI trial, the first trainee led Randomised controlled trial published in the BMJ
He has published 3 book chapters and over 20 peer reviewed papers.
Mr Hornby is married to a multi-talented physiotherapist writer and has a young and energetic boy. In his spare time enjoys walking, learning to cook and has recently taken up pottery.
