About me

I achieved a doctoral degree in clinical psychology in 1997. Since then I have gained over 20 years experience working as a clinical psychologist in the NHS and private practice. I have experience in GP surgeries, out-patients, sexual health clinics, drug dependency units and community mental health teams.

I founded my private practice - Talking Therapy Matters - in 2017. I offer assessment and psychological therapy for adults with most psychological difficulties.

Through the use of cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) and practices from mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and compassionate mind therapy we will work together to help you understand and overcome your psychological difficulties.

Areas of interest

I have a broad field of interest including working with adults with depression; anxiety; panic; obsessional compulsive disorder; anger; self-esteem; managing change; stress and burnout; relationship difficulties
