About me

Due to lockdown being gradually reduced, my aim is to resume face-to-face therapy sessions in mid July 20 as my practice is COVID compliant.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to book a face-to-face therapy session as restrictions are changing rapidly and it may be possible for me to resume earlier whilst still working within government guidelines.

If the current situation is affecting your way of being and thinking and you are looking for a counsellor who has experience and can provide a confidential space for you to discuss issues which are affecting your everyday life;

If you need to talk to someone who understands what you mean and where you are coming from;

If you would like to be more confident, productive and motivated and want help to change some aspects of your life:

I am an Accredited Professional Registrant with the National Counselling Society and a Registered Member of BACP. I am also a supervisor of other professionals and a Lifecoach.

I offer a therapy service in a private, comfortable and safe environment to enable you to explore issues causing difficulty and concern and to ultimately give you the space to help make changes in your life. I work with adults, couples and families but I also work extensively with children and adolescents on issues which ultimately may cause difficult moods and behaviour.

My approach to therapy is based on the needs of the individual client so an initial assessment is encouraged before therapy begins. My therapy style is integrative which means my work with you is tailored to you the individual. I work creatively incorporating art and play therapy with children, mindfulness-based CBT, life coaching, hypnotherapy and relaxation therapy. My practice Reflections Counselling is situated within very easy reach of the A1, M1 and M18 and there is a very frequent bus service a few minutes walk away.

PLEASE NOTE that if you are unable to make face-to-face sessions I also offer telephone and online counselling sessions.

Issues I work with include anxiety and depression, anger, low self esteem and confidence, bullying, challenging behaviour, bereavement and loss, eating disorders, self harm, abuse and stress. Please contact me for a full list of issues.

I offer daytime and evening appointments for counselling and psychotherapy at a time suitable for clients.
