About me

Hi, I'm Justin Savage. I'm a Chartered Clinical Psychologist - I help individuals with their psychological wellbeing. I have private and public sector experience as a Clinical Psychologist. My focus involves depression, anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as a particular interest in physical conditions that may have an emotional connection, e.g, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia. I am professionally registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a chartered member of The British Psychological Society (BPS).

I provide psychological therapy and assessment for a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural problems. I aim to help people overcome their problems as quickly and effectively as possible, guided by their pace and capabilities.

Treated problems include: depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, eating disorders, medically unexplained symptoms and pains, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS, or ME), relationship problems, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), self-harm, emotional instability, personality issues.

I use training and experience in various therapies such as, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy to work with a range of people and problems. I specialise in ISTDP as this approach is designed to be highly effective and create long-lasting change in as short a time-frame as possible. I will work collaboratively with you to tailor therapy to your individual goals and needs.
