About me

About me:
Compassion and empathy form the essence of my therapeutic approach. I take a non-judgmental stance and treat my clients with respect and honesty.
I offer a range of different therapy options. Sometimes it is difficult for a client to decide which one would be most helpful, and many people benefit from a combination of approaches. As part of the assessment process, we will talk this through and agree on a treatment plan which works for you.
While I have a wide range of experience with clients from all walks of life and am happy to work with anyone, I have a particular interest in three groups of clients: people suffering from depression, clients with autistic spectrum conditions and LGBT clients.
I have almost thirty years experience as a psychotherapist. I have mostly worked within the NHS but I have also worked for Relate, both Nottingham universities, voluntary organisations and large corporations as a staff counsellor and trainer.
