I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Sancta Maria Hospital .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

Cataract and Glaucoma Surgeon
Luke Anderson is a glaucoma and cataract specialist. He qualified from Leicester University in 2002 and then undertook Ophthalmic higher surgical training in Hampshire and then Wales. Luke completed his Glaucoma Training in the University Hospital Wales and then became the glaucoma lead for the Cwm Taf University Trust, before leaving in 2018 to work in Swansea Bay University healthcare Trust. He has held several training positions in the royal college, currently he is a founder member on the steering group for implementation of surgical simulation training into the curriculum.
Mr Anderson undertakes minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He offers this alone or in combination with cataract surgery.
Areas of interest
His current Ophthalmic research includes the digital assessment of vision, the use of data and neural networks in the diagnosis and prognosis of eye disease. His current Glaucoma research project is looking at glaucoma care pathways in glaucomatous patients.
