Dr Mansoor is currently working as a consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology at York Teaching Hospitals NHS trust and Harrogate District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. His special interests include investigation of peripheral nerve, muscle and central nervous system disorders. This means he works with very interesting and challenging cases all the time. People he helps may have just numbness or pain, slight weakness, deterioration of function for example hand/limb. Dr Mansoor also helps to diagnose the underlying cause of patients with walking/balance problems and variety of other neurological disorders.
Dr Mansoor held a clinical neurophysiology specialist training post at Regional Neuro Sciences centre Royal Victoria infirmary Newcastle upon Tyne. Here he not only availed opportunities for clinical training but also actively participated in various research projects. During these years he also spent time at prestigious institutes- University College London hospitals including National Neurology and Great Ormond street hospitals for further specialist experience.
He also acquired additional specialist skills and experience by attending international courses and conferences. These include a diploma course at Uppsala University, Sweden, and the epilepsy surgery course at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.

I enjoy quality time with my family. We together go on cycling and mountain walking. We also lay Badminton and squash. I also like to participate in voluntary activities. Currently I am undertaking 3 peaks challenge for a cancer charity.
