About me

I have been a qualified, practising therapist in the Midlands for over 17 years, including over 15 years working within Higher Education. I offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment in which to help you explore any issues you may be struggling with, in an effort to help you live your life more fully, and ultimately experience a better quality of life. I believe it’s important to address a person’s individual needs in order to find the most beneficial way of working towards change. I see my main role as facilitating that change and supporting the enhancement of personal growth. I was initially trained as a person-centred counsellor but over the years have integrated some CBT and NLP into my practice.

I was also a Retail Manager for 16 years so I have relevant ‘business experience’ of work-related issues, whether they’re impacting on someone’s personal or professional life.
