About me

I joined Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital NHS Trust in 2016 as a consultant urological surgeon. I completed my medical undergraduate training at Cambridge University and subsequently obtained a PhD in prostate cancer at University College London funded by a British Urological Foundation scholarship. My postgraduate urological training took place within the South Thames Rotation including placements at Guy's Hospital, The Royal Marsden Hospital, and King's College London Hospital. During this time I undertook training in all areas of general urology including subspecialty training in uro-oncology, andrology, stone surgery, and transplant urology. I also held a joint position during this time as an Academic Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London and participated in translational research in prostate and bladder cancer.

My practice encompasses all areas of general urology with specific interest in prostate and bladder problems, which include the diagnosis and management of prostate and bladder cancer and holmium laser prostate surgery. I have been involved with pioneering research into prostate biopsy techniques to help localise clinically significant cancers.
