My interests include laparoscopic surgery, advanced rectal cancers and endoscopy.
I have completed two post CCT fellowships including a laparoscopic colorectal fellowship in Bradford Royal Infirmary, Yorkshire and subsequently an advanced rectal cancer fellowship at the Karolinska University hospital in Stockholm.
I was elected President of the Dukes’ Club for 2014/15 and was a member of council of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland for the duration of this term.
I enjoy endoscopy and am a member of faculty at the Mersey School of Endoscopy for the JAG colonoscopy course.
I have completed a post graduate certificate in medical education and teach on MRCS and FRCS preparation courses.
