About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in Neuropsychology with adults. I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Chartered Clincial Psychologist and a member of the Divisions of Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology and Health Psychology.
I have worked for many years in the area of Acquired Brain injury (ABI), having set up and managed a multidisciplinary service for the assessment, management and rehabilitation of those with ABI.
Within the area of ABI I have a special interest in the assessment of complex co-morbidities, differential diagnoses and the assessment and treatment of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (including post-concussion syndrome).
I also provide treatment and management of those who have suffered a decline in frontal lobe function with resultant behaviour and personality change. I work with couples/families in this regard.
I assess those with cognitive difficulties due to hypoxic injury caused by accident or seizure activity and those with problems of a functional nature.
I have a research doctorate in functional behavioural analysis, and have also carried out research into the psychological recovery from stroke and coronary thrombosis.
