About me

Hello. My name is Ania Halls and I am a BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist in York. I offer confidential therapy for individuals experiencing depression, trauma and anxiety disorders, based on the latest research in the field.

I am a fully accredited Psychotherapist registered with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP). I am also a fully trained EMDR Therapists, level 3.

I have many years of experience of working in the NHS in mental health at various levels including: Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Service Manager and Clinical Service Lead.

Three years ago I decided to step away from management roles and to concentrate fully on my clinical work through my private practice.
I now run a regular clinic in York. I continue to provide regular supervision to a number of independent therapists in and around York and to NHS psychology departments across the country.

My professional yet comfortable private practice is located in Holgate in York, with parking and easy access from town or from the ring road.

For more information about my therapeutic approach and my experience please visit my website at: http://www.yorkcbt.co.uk
