About me
Dr Sarah Panjwani is a General and Developmental Paediatrician, with over 15 years’ experience in Paediatrics. She assesses and treats all conditions in children of all ages, with a particular focus on:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments
• Developmental delay (including speech and language delay and behavioural concerns)
• ADHD assessments
• Sleep disorders
• Managing gastro-oesophageal reflux
• Eating, toileting and constipation issues
Sarah graduated from London’s King’s College School of Medicine and has a Masters (with distinction) in Child Health from the University of Warwick. Her paediatrics training has spanned some of the country’s best known hospitals for newborn and children’s medicine, including Manchester Children’s Hospital, and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool. She teaches the Community Paediatrics curriculum at her alma mater, as well as to junior doctors and other health professionals.
Sarah has been passionate about paediatric medicine since she herself was a child. In clinic, she works with parents as the child’s advocate, to help her patients reach their full potential. As a paediatric consultant at one of London’s leading multi-disciplinary children’s centres, Sarah regularly reviews children with developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder and complex disability. She has also set up a successful service for children with sleep disorders.
Sarah has researched stem cell treatments for neurological disease at Harvard University’s Boston Children’s Hospital, and was Young Investigator of the Year for her research on medication use in paediatric Crohn’s disease and Colitis. Her work in child health has been published and presented at national and international conferences.
