About me

I am Chris Stavri, an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor in private practice and Supervisor for counsellors. I am accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I adhere to BACP’s guidelines and code of ethics.I have been BACP Accredited since 2010. As an integrative therapist, I am trained to work with a range of counselling models.

I have worked in a GP’s practice for the NHS for over two years, with clients affected by all kinds of emotional and psychological issues. I have extensive training and many years of experience working on a one-to-one basis with people seeking help for problems such as low self-esteem, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship issues, grief, and all types of painful feelings.

As well as working as a therapist, I am a committee member of the Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists in North London (ACPNL). Additionally, I am a senior therapist with Skylark Counselling Psychotherapy working with people affected by disability.

I am the author of a self-help book called “Know You Can Change”. A Path to Psychological and Spiritual Development. In this book, I outline some of the most significant elements that cause most people to suffer and give a general guide to development. Although in contents it is abundantly informative, I advise, that it should not be used alone, to entire psychological progression.

In the counselling setting, my aim is to provide you with space where you can explore your worries without feeling pressured or judged, to help you understand and resolve the issues that are affecting your life.

I get a great sense of fulfilment from seeing clients reach a point where they feel ready to move on with their lives, without the worries or concerns that brought them into therapy.
