Dr Bhavini Patel qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2004. She was appointed as a Consultant Stroke Neurologist at St George’s University Hospital in 2015. Her NHS work is focused on providing hyper-acute and acute stroke care, as well as work within the TIA service. She is also one of the tertiary headache specialists providing BOTOX and nerve block injections for migraine/cluster headaches; and one of the acute general neurologists managing neurologically unwell patients presenting in an emergency. She also has general neurology and stroke clinics.

I am a sporty person. Until a year ago I was a keen runner and cyclist but after completing the London Marathon and the Descent Duathlon, I changed to circuits and now I have added Taekwondo and pilates to my belt.
