About me

I am an experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon with well over 10 years experience of advanced Adult and Paediatric practice as an NHS Consultant. I am on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and am fully accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

I qualified in Medicine from the University of London and underwent specialist postgraduate training in teaching hospitals in London and West Midlands Regions, with additional higher training in the Netherlands. I continue to attend international conferences and courses to stay up-to-date. I hold the posts of Consultant and Head of Department for ENT/Head & Neck Surgery at the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

My private practice is based at Spire Bushey Hospital and at Spire Harpenden Hospital.

I always try to ensure that I have listened to my patients and that I have offered a clear explanation of my findings. This helps my patients to better understand their condition and feel better able to manage it or consider any treatment options.

Fields of Practice

All areas of Adult ENT disorders:

Nasal congestion, allergy and polyps, catarrh, sinus problems and sinus surgery/FESS/Balloon Sinuplasty, facial pain, nosebleeds, deviated septum,septoplasty, nasal deformity and rhinoplasty
Throat and neck symptoms (sore throat, phlegm, cough, feeling of lump), tonsillitis, swallowing problems, voice disorders
Cancer diagnosis and exclusion, neck lumps, salivary gland disease and surgery, thyroid surgery, lymph nodes, glands
Ear conditions including hearing loss, tinnitus, ear infections, wax, Eustachian Tube Dysfunction and Tuboplasty
Snoring and sleep apnoea
Watery eye and DCR
