About me

I am an ENT Consultant / Head and Neck Surgeon based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London. I consult privately at the Cromwell Hospital, the Wellington Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital.

I specialise in ENT and subspecialise in all areas of head and neck surgery, salivary gland conditions, parotid tumours including pleomorphic adenoma, thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer.

In Toronto, I undertook advanced clinical and surgical fellowship training for 3 years in head and neck surgical oncology, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and microvascular reconstruction at University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospital, one of the three largest such programmes in North America.

I am from London originally and qualified in Bristol in 2002. In 2013, I completed Calman ENT specialist training in Manchester and was granted my research doctorate by the University of Manchester for my thesis in translational radiobiology in head and neck cancer. I have published and presented internationally on cancer biomarkers, functional MRI, virtual surgical navigation, oncological outcomes, and on other aspects of ENT such as Cochrane and BMJ Clinical Evidence reviews.

I am a 10-PA NHS consultant and honorary clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College London. I teach medical students and junior doctors, work on the FRCS JCIE question writing group, and enjoyed providing an honorary surgical service to the Gibraltar Health Authority.
