I am an ENT consultant based at Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospitals, Imperial College Healthcare, London. I subspecialise in salivary gland surgery, thyroid surgery, head and neck cancer, and all routine ear, nose and throat conditions.
I am from London originally and qualified as a doctor at Bristol in 2002. In 2013, I completed Calman specialist ENT training and was granted my research doctorate by the University of Manchester for my thesis in translational radiobiology. I have published and presented internationally on cancer biomarkers, functional MRI, virtual surgical navigation and oncological outcomes, and on other aspects of ENT such as Cochrane and BMJ Clinical Evidence reviews on Bell's palsy.
Following specialist registration in the UK, I elected to undertake 3 years of advanced fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and reconstructive microsurgery (120 free tissue transfers) with the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, University of Toronto, one of the three largest such programmes North America.
I am a 10-PA NHS consultant and honorary clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College London. I teach medical students and junior doctors, work on the Intercollegiate Examination Board question writing group, and enjoy providing an honorary surgical service to the Gibraltar Health Authority.
I consult privately in central London. I go the extra mile to provide a holistic, prompt, thoughtful and collaborative surgical and medical service to all my patients.
