About me

I offer counselling and psychotherapy regarding all mental health issues, depression, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem, bullying, domestic abuse, childhood abuse, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, child behaviour and parenting, life cycle changes, antenatal and postnatal anxiety and depression, stillbirth and miscarriage, pet bereavement, chronic illness and disability.

I have a great deal of experience working with clients who experience anxiety and depression, and also use simple mindfulness and cognitive techniques as part of my work. I believe education about managing our mental health is a significant part of any treatment and relapse prevention.
One of my major interests has been mental health and relationships around the transition into parenthood, including ante natal and postnatal depression and anxiety. The responsibilities as a parent can feel complicated and overwhelming at times from birth to adulthood, and will often benefit from identifying strategies and coping mechanisms in a non- judgemental and safe environment.
