About me

IN THE LIGHT OF THE CURRENT COVID19 SITUATION ALL SESSIONS WILL BE HELD BY SKYPE, ZOOM, WHATS APP OR TELEPHONE.

Since Covid19 has struck, many have been wary of having therapy 'virtually'. It's a big change from what we expect therapy to look like. However my clients have found they can have the same experience and confidence in their therapy and I find myself that adapting to a different style of delivering therapy has been ok. Being able to see each other is preferable for us both, but if it makes you uncomfortable we can work by telephone. I do wear headphones so you can be assured no-one can overhear us and your confidentiality remains.
If you aren't sure then call up for a chat about it.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy regarding all mental health issues, depression, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem, bullying, domestic abuse, childhood abuse, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, child behaviour and parenting, life cycle changes, antenatal and postnatal anxiety and depression, stillbirth and miscarriage, pet bereavement, chronic illness and disability.
I have also undergone training on working with different types of PTSD.

I have a great deal of experience working with clients who experience anxiety and depression, and also use simple mindfulness and cognitive behavioural techniques as part of my work. I believe education about managing our mental health is a significant part of any treatment and relapse prevention.

I am able to offer flexibility with appointments including evening and weekends. Parking is also available.
