About me

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, having worked in the NHS for 15 years before moving into the private sector. I specialise in working with adults and teens, providing assessment and therapeutic intervention for a range of common psychological issues including depression, anxiety and stress. I have a special interest in working with physical health conditions which impact psychological functioning. I am interested in the treatment of psychosexual and relationship problems and offer couple therapy. I am also experienced in working with psychological difficulties related to stress at work.

Further to my doctorate training in Clinical Psychology, I have undergone additional professional training in neuropsychological assessment and neuro-rehabilitation. I has been the lead for neuropsychology in Barts Health NHS Trust service for HIV. Accordingly, I am able to integrate specialist assessment into my work aimed at understanding a person’s cognitive functioning, including developmental disorders and memory problems.

A warm, kind and empathetic practitioner, I use a range of treatment approaches including CBT, systemic and psychodynamic therapies. I enjoy working with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and am sensitive to issues that relate to culture, gender and sexuality within my clinical work.

I offer teaching, training and supervision to businesses and mental health professionals.

2017- Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology (Dip Clinical Neuropsychology), Glasgow University.
2010- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D.Clin.Psy.), University of East London.
2002- Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and English (BSc. Hons.) University of Derby.
