Dr Sarita Singh is a Consultant Dermatologist at Chelsea and Westminster and the Royal Brompton Hospitals London. She graduated from King’s College London School of Medicine with a number of academic awards. She undertook an intercalated BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and was awarded a prize for the best thesis. Dr Singh trained in Dermatology at University College London Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, 2004-2011.
Areas of interest
Dr Singh’s main clinical and research interests are in skin cancer, hair and nail disorders and inflammatory skin diseases. In 2012, she set up a specialist Hair clinic at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, one of the few dedicated services in the UK. She also runs the specialist cutaneous sarcoidosis service at The Royal Brompton Hospital.
