About me

I am a qualified CBT Psychotherapist with a Post graduate certificate and Diploma, as well as a Msc in CBT. I am trained and experienced to use CBT with Adults, children and young people. I treat mild and moderate depression, work place stress, anxiety disorders such as General anxiety disorder, Health anxiety, PTSD, other trauma related issues, as well as OCD. I have worked in private practice as well as for various Improving Access to psychological therapy (IAPT) services within primary care, a NHS staff care service and at a private hospital. I have treated various individuals from senior management in universities and within the NHS, to adolescents who parents who are in highly respected work positions.

As a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy I am aware of some of the complexities individuals' face and how these complexities can impact on them emotionally, socially, personally and professionally. As a result I believe my approach is client focused. I believe I am a warm, caring, empathetic and genuine, which helps the person coming to therapy to be able to identify and change their unhelpful thinking and behaviour, resulting in them feeling better about themselves.
