About me
A Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) Psychotherapist with an extensive background in working with individuals, families and communities experiencing emotional distress. I work with adults experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties such as addictions, trauma (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder, depression (including post natal depression), generalised anxiety disorder, stress, social anxiety, panic disorder, health anxiety and sex and relationship problems.
I currently hold clinics in the NHS alongside my private practice at The Eaves. The NHS/IAPT aspect of my role is to provide CBT treatment and additionally supervise other psychotherapists in their practice. In private practice I work using a brief model of psychotherapy that can range from 4-20 sessions depending on the problem/s presented and as agreed in therapy. Although more long term therapy can also be facilitated. I hold clinics in Godalming and Guildford.
You may wish to change a problem situation, or change the way you think or behave in a situation. You may wish to feel differently. Whatever your goals, we would work together in therapy to understand the nature of your problem and teach you new alternative ways of managing.
