I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Mount Alvernia Hospital, Parkside Private Suite Frimley .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

Mr Modi completed his medical training at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London. He was awarded fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 2014 having completed his specialist training in the Peninsula deanery. He was appointed as a consultant at Frimley Park Hospital and has subsequently been elected as lead consultant for Ophthalmology. He is actively involved in teaching the next generation of eye surgeons and is lead for surgical simulation for trainee eye surgeons for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery. He has authored the textbook 'Basic Science in Ophthalmology' with Oxford University Press.
He endeavours to have made sure that at each consultation, he has taken the time to listen to each of his patients' concerns and explained thoroughly the diagnosis and treatment plan in a way that his patients understand.

Cataract surgery; Femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery; YAG laser capsulotomy for posterior capsular opacity (PCO); Glaucoma and ocular hypertension diagnosis and treatment including laser and surgery; Oculoplastic (eyelid) surgery including entropion, ectropion, ptosis, tumour / cancer of the eye and face; Cosmetic eyelid surgery including anti-wrinkle injections and fillers; Dry and watery eye (lacrimal) conditions; Blepharitis and general Ophthalmology.
