About me

Jodie is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. He qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2007 and also holds a degree in Biomedical Science. Since University, Jodie has worked in several leading NHS hospitals as well as private clinics which has given him an excellent knowledge and skills base in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

Jodie’s passion is rugby and he spent 2 years living and working in New Zealand to be able to gain experience with some top flight rugby teams. Jodie used to play rugby regularly but has been forced into retirement through injury - he has extensive experience rehabilitating himself and is well aware what it feels like to be on the other side of the treating couch.

After suffering a serious neck injury himself, Jodie has developed a special interest in the neck and upper limb and is an expert in treating conditions such as headache, neck, shoulder and arm pain either from an acute injury or from postural neglect.

Jodie is able to provide advice, hands on treatment and tailored rehabilitation for any injury. He utilises a variety of treatments including dry needling, soft tissue mobilisation, joint manipulation and taping to help with pain and dysfunction. Jodie believes in working hard with clients to achieve their functional and sporting goals.
