About me

Dr Beverley Mears is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and is registered to practice by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy(UKCP)and holds to their ethical standards.

Having worked within the mental health field for 20 years Beverley currently divides her time between working as Consultant Psychotherapist and Clinical Lead for a Secondary Care Psychological Therapy Service in the NHS, working with patients with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and private practice. Beverley has experience of treating patients using Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Mentalisation Based Treatment, DBT skills and Motivational Interviewing.
Beverley is also trained in EMDR and Couples and Family therapy.
