About me

Dr Sergi was trained in Acute and Internal medicine. She qualified in Italy in 1998 discussing a thesys in Cardiology on the outcome of patients treated with angioplasty which granted her an MD (It).
Subsequently she won a post as Trainee in Internal Medicine at the Post Graduate School for Internal Medicine and finished her training in 2003 with a sperimental thesys on the role of metalloproteinases in the Acute Coronary syndrome. During those years she was involved in researches with the Thrombosys group and has taken part to clinical trials on anticoagulants.

She then started working as a Consultant in Acute Medicine and Intensive and Coronary Care in Italy before moving to the UK in 2004.

Dr Sergi has over 10 year experience as a consultant in the UK having worked at Royal London and Barts NHS Trust and other acute hospitals in the London area.
She has joined Kingston hospital in 2013 as a consultant in in Acute and General medicine.
She is currently working as a consultant in General medicine and collaborating with the Cardiology services.
Her main interest remains in Internal (General) Medicine in patients with multiple pathologies and requiring holistic care. She also retains an interest in general cardiology and echocardiography.
Dr Sergi offers in patient consultantions where her expertise covers all medical pathologies that require admission in adults.

She also provide out patient clinics on all the main medical symptoms including breathlessness, high blood pressure, chest discomfort .
Also offering advise for weight control and well being.
