Dr Clayton was awarded the British Association of Dermatologists study fellowship in 2012 which helped fund a 6 month hair fellowship at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology with Dr Catherine Stefanato with a focus on histopathology. During this time she collaborated with Professor Mike Philpott from the Blizard Institute. From this, she presented her work at The World Congress for Hair research 2013, London histopathology Symposium and the American Society of Dermatopathology annual meeting.
