About me

I have a passion for understanding the unique influences that effect our emotional experiences, our ways of seeing and being in the world. We develop and adapt ourselves creatively, out of necessity, to survive circumstances and situations that we have had to endure. However, as circumstances change these creative adaptations may no longer serve us, they can even come to restrict and inhibit us.

In a world that adds pressure to attain the ideals of happiness and material success, difficult life events and our internal and emotional experiences such as anxiety, grief, anger and despair can be neglected. These denied emotions may come to manifest as psychological or physical symptoms that can become stuck and lead to further problems that may negatively impact our sense of self, wellbeing, relationships, family life, work and our potential to thrive.

I work with adults and I have substantial experience of working with young people age 14-24 years old. I offer a supportive space to work through impacting changes, challenging life events and movement through life stages.

I offer a nurturing space to help you explore and make sense of difficult and uncomfortable experiences, to develop insight into aspects of your life that are no longer working for you and to help you consider how to move towards living a life that is meaningful to you.

I use acceptance and values based psychotherapy approaches as well as integrating CBT and relational models of psychotherapy to work with what you bring into the therapy room.
