About me
Miss Pari Shams is a consultant ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon. Miss Shams graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 1999. She undertook medical training at Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Hammersmith Hospital London. She became a member of the Royal College of Physicians, London in 2002. Miss Shams undertook her ophthalmic training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, The Royal Free Hospital and The Western Eye Hospital. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London in 2011. Miss Shams spent 3 years in fellowship training in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, The South Australian Institute of Ophthalmology, Adelaide, South Australia, The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital London and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, U.S.A. Miss Shams specialises in treatments of conditions that affect the eyelids and surrounding structures, such as the brow, cheek, eye socket and tear duct system, in adults and children.
