About me

I qualified MBChB in Cape Town (1978), gained my surgical fellowship FRCSEdin (1986) and my doctorate MD (1988). I retired from my full-time NHS post (Consultant General Surgeon, with colorectal and laparoscopic surgery,NHS Tayside) after 24 years and continue working in the private sector in Scotland. My outpatient clinic is at BMI Kings Park Hospital in Stirling where I also operate.During the current COVID lockdown, I am also doing telephone consultations.

Areas of interest

Surgery in General - all hernia surgery (groin and abdominal wall, incisional hernia); Haemorrhoids and other anorectal conditions; Endoscopic procedures (upper GI endoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy)
