About me

I am a Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, UK. I am part of a new generation of vascular surgeons trained in both traditional open surgical and modern endovascular (radiologically guided, minimally invasive/keyhole) techniques. I do not undertake any general surgical procedures and specialise purely in vascular disease.

I studied medicine at Cambridge and Guy's and St Thomas', London, graduating in 2002 and undertook my surgical training in London and Oxford. I spent a year on a specialist Endovascular Fellowship at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

My Doctorate (MD) was in the evolving field of Patient Safety and Quality Improvement and my current research interests include pathway and systems improvement in vascular surgery and in minimally invasive endovascular therapies.

I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and I have a Diploma in Medical Education
