Overview

About me

I take an integrative approach to counselling, my core training is humanistic, but I integrate other perspectives and techniques in order to be able to meet the needs of individuals. I base my approach on the Person Centred principle that individuals have the potential for growth and self awareness.

My therapeutic philosophy is influenced by existential thinking and the ideas that we are challenged with making meaning from our individuality, our strengths, opportunities and limitations.

I aim to help clients access their own resources to deal with life’s challenges, some aspects cannot be changed - but by working together we can gain new understanding and insight into past experiences in order to make different choices for the future.
