About me

Dr. Namita Arora is a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthetics at Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals. She has done her advanced pain training from University Hospitals of Leicester and Guys and St. Thomas’ hospital London and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA). She has worked as a Locum Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthetics at Oxford University Hospitals prior to her appointment as a substantive consultant at Peterborough.

She provides consultation, medical management and interventional treatment for a variety of chronic pain conditions including fibromyalgia, knee pain, post-surgical knee pain, shoulder pain, back pain, sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, failed back surgery syndrome, abdominal pain, pelvic pain, vulvodynia, bladder pain syndrome, neck pain, neuropathic pain like post herpetic neuralgia and radicular pain.

She is proficient in back and neck cortisone (steroid) injections including facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, epidurals, occipital nerve blocks for headaches, peripheral joint injections including knee shoulder and hip joint, trigger point injections, nerve root blocks for sciatica and radicular pain and radiofrequency treatment.
