I am an Audiologist, with many years of experience in balance assessments and rehabilitation programmes. I have a keen interest in peripheral balance disorders caused by the inner ear dysfunction, and have helped many people with symptoms of dizziness, vertigo and imbalance to get back on track and improve their quality of life. I have been practicing at a number of private hospitals in North West London since 2012, providing a sophisticated balance care of the highest standard, and attaining only the most positive feedback from his patients. I am supported by a large network of healthcare professionals, which allows me to deliver the most integrated and holistic service.
I attained my degree with Honours at the University of Southampton, before proceeding to complete my training alongside prominent consultants at a number of NHS hospitals across the South East of England. Working at different clinical sites created many opportunities to get maximum exposure to both the profession and the way the healthcare system is managed and funded. Recognising the need for innovation and simplified access to healthcare, I often took part in planning and campaigning for healthcare services redesign for the benefit of patient care.
After completing my training in the NHS, I took on a role of a Clinical Services Manager at a global private healthcare provider, charged with improving the quality of patient care, working closely with local GPs and health commissioners, and guarding the equality and diversity of the service. I am a strong supporter of promoting patient’s choice – patients must be fully involved in the choice of the healthcare provider, be it the major NHS hospital or a modern private clinic based in a convenient high-street location.
The years of first-hand experience and significant exposure to the NHS and private healthcare, allow me to implement the most sophisticated and patient-orientated assessment and rehabilitation strategies in my private practice. My aim is to improve access and affordability of balance services in London. I am fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists, governmental bodies that oversee the integrity and quality of care delivered to patients by the healthcare professionals in the UK. To maintain these professional registrations and to constantly enrich my knowledge of the latest research and technological developments in the field of dizziness and balance, I regularly attend professional conferences and clinical workshops.
