Published over 50 manuscripts with 24 first author publications. He has co-authored several book chapters and has been invited as a faculty member in numerous international bariatric conferences. He is also Principal Investigator for the By band Sleeve trial at HEFT. This is an NIHR funded portfolio study that compares the outcomes between the 3 commonly performed bariatric procedures. It is the largest RCT on bariatric surgery in the world.
He is the Principal investigator for a randomised control trial comparing medical therapy vs bariatric surgery in patients with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension.
Awarded two international and 3 national prizes for clinical research
