About me

Mr. Tiroumal has an experience of over 25 years in Ophthalmology. His main sub-specialty interests are cataract surgery and Medical Retina disorders. He has performed over 6000 cataract surgeries. He gives his patients the option of performing cataract surgery under topical anaesthesia without involving an injection around the eye. He is also specialised in managing Medical Retina diseases which need intravitreal eye injections such as age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion with macular oedema.
He has extensive experience in general Ophthalmology disorders including management of dry eyes, glaucoma and correction of lid disorders such as ectropion, entropion and blepharoplasty.
