About me

Mr McArthur was born and educated in Scotland where he also completed his basic surgical training. After obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he decided on a career in Plastic Surgery and relocated to London to maximise his training opportunities. In London, he was trained by some of this country's leading Plastic Surgeons whilst working in some of the most prestigious hospitals in the UK. His training was completed with specialist fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital. He also trained in cosmetic surgery at the London Clinic. Mr McArthur is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Fellow of the European Board of Hand Surgery. He is also on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He has published in a number of peer reviewed international journals and has presented on an international stage on many occasions.
