I am on the Specialist Register as a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM). My main interest is in non operative management of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. I work as a Lead Consultant at the NHS Community Musculoskeletal Service in Colchester and Clacton on Sea. I deal with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries in amateur athletes as well as various age and work related joint aches and pains.
My previous elite sport experience includes working with Widnes Vikings RFL, GB Paralympics Archery, GB men’s water polo, Manchester City FC, Stevenage FC, Colchester United FC teams.
As an event doctor, I have covered numerous competitions in Boxing, Rugby League, Athletics, Karate, Water polo, Archery, MMA, Netball, Football, Taekwondo, and Judo. I have also worked at 2008 Beijing, 2012 London Olympic Games, 2015 Baku European Games.
Prior to SEM specialisation, I had completed Winchester General Practice training. I then worked in London, Basingstoke, Singapore, Jakarta, Nanjing, Beijing, and Bath gaining extensive experience in Emergency and Family medicine.

Investigation and management of neck and back conditions; shoulder and elbow pains; wrist and hand pains; groin and knee pains, ankle and foot pains. ACJ pain.
Injection therapy in non operative management of frozen shoulder, subacromial shoulder pain, treatment of tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, treatment of trigger finger; tenosynovitis.
Management of knee osteoarthritis, Achilles and patella tendinopathy; plantar fasciitis.
