About me

Having worked in several positions in what would be considered caring professions I have gained a varied experience in counselling, advice and guidance. I have counselled clients from all age groups and backgrounds on trauma, bereavement, depression, suicide, anxiety, abuse, relationship issues & many more presenting issues. I continue to maintain my studies in counselling/psychotherapy and build acquired working in Castle Practice, Contact, Life line, Opal and Park side Surgery, as well as many hours of telephone & face to face contact on counselling advice & guidance. My work with WAVE Trauma is working with people affected by the troubles in Northern Ireland, such as bombs, murders, murderers, bereaved by the troubles, complex PTSD, addiction and many other presenting issues, working in a trauma focussed CBP approach and EMDR, as recommended in the NICE guidelines.
