I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Spire Hesslewood Clinic .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

I have been a consultant ophthalmologist since July, 2013 and work at the Spire, Hull and East Yorkshire and also at the Hull and East Yorkshire Eye Hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary NHS specialising in all kinds of cataract surgery together with premium refractive outcomes and astigmatism correction. I also specialise in paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmolgy and adult squints including disorders causing double vision.
I perform complex and simple cataract surgery aiming to correct errors and astigmatism. I also perform all kinds of paediatric ophthalmic surgery and adult squint surgery including adjustable suture procedures.
I have vast surgical training background. My final fellowship training was the internationally renowned strabismus and paediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. Previously I did a senior fellowship at Leicester in paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology. Leicester is recognized as the national centre of excellence in nystagmus and head posture surgery.
Prior to my fellowships I trained extensively across the UK including at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge in ophthalmology especially in complex cataract surgery.
